01. Retro Landscape Kit from MiksKS

Create your own retro/80’s inspired landscape scenes with this kit! It includes a lot of different elements, objects, textures and backgrounds, as well as 8 premade scenes. This set works great for creating 80’s inspired compositions, CD or book covers, wallpapers, and more.

The elements:

• Base grids: these are great for creating the classic look of a grid disappearing into the horizon. There are also a few grids viewed from the front, which can be used as backgrounds.
• Simple grid landscapes: same look as the base grids, but with mountains.
• Glossy grid landscapes: these landscapes have a glossy texture with reflections. The color can be modified using Adjustment layers in Photoshop (for example, Hue/Saturation or Color Balance).
• Mountains silhouettes: you can put them behind the foreground elements to add depth to your compositions.
• Skylines: like the mountains silhouettes, they work great as background elements, combined with a simple “infinite grid” at the front, or one of the grid landscape elements.
• Planets and suns: includes the classic “retro sun” in several color versions, as well as multiple planets, with and without rings. Colors can be modified through adjustment layers, or layer styles (for flat elements).
• Textures: a selection of textures that will add the final touch to your designs, from scan lines to grunge paper – play around with blending modes for various effects.
• Space backgrounds: for adding stars & nebulae in the background.

02. Retro inspired grid landscapes from MiksKS

About this item:

• A set of 40 vector grid landscapes inspired by retro futuristic/80’s aesthetics.

You can create your own scenes, designs, and color combinations with these landscapes! I’ve tried to include varied landscapes styles – lots of mountains, not so many mountains, etc. (See preview pictures for an overview of all the landscapes included in this set). These elements don’t necessarily have to be used for 80’s inspired designs only – I’ve provided a few examples (see mockup pictures) of the landscapes used for minimalist and clean designs, so you have many options available! You can easily modify the color of the landscapes (currently black), either by adding a color overlay (Photoshop), or changing the Fill color (Illustrator). All the files are provided in high-res PNG with transparent background as well, in case you don’t have a vector software. These can be used in almost any program.

03. Grunge texture kit from MiksKS

A set of 35 textures to add a grunge look to your illustrations, typography, or other designs. These textures were created using ink/foam rollers, paint and ink, then scanned at high resolution and isolated from their background to create transparent PNG files – which means you can easily modify the color of the textures (by default, provided as black on transparent background), using layer effects (for example, Color Overlay in Photoshop). These textures also work great as layer masks! Each texture measures 5000 x 3333 px and has a 300 DPI resolution. (See preview pictures for an overview of all the textures). The set also included a selection of 10 bonus stamp brushes for Photoshop, to add custom grunge details to your designs 🙂

04. Black Paper Textures from MiksKS

Quickly give your designs a grunge paper look with this set of 30 textures! With a size of 6000 x 4000 px and a resolution of 300 dpi, they can be used in many different projects. They were made using black paper sheets that have been carefully folded, crumpled or scratched for unique grunge looks, and then scanned at high resolution to retain as many details as possible. Black paper textures work great when set to the blending mode Screen, or Lighten. They will create a “worn out printed poster” effect – adjust levels and opacity for custom results. If you invert them, you can also use them as layer masks.

05. Subtle grunge Photoshop brushes from MiksKS

Grunge brushes are a nice way to add texture to digital designs, whether it is an illustration or a typography composition! This set features 62 Photoshop stamp brushes, including varied textures as well as rolled ink border brushes. All these brushes are available in two different sizes; a very large size version (around 5000 px, for Photoshop CS6+), and a smaller size (around 1000 px, for older Photoshop versions or smaller canvases). If you don’t have Photoshop or prefer working with textures, no problem! I’ve included each brush from the set as high-res PNG files as well.

06. Black & Gold polygons from MiksKS

These polygonal shapes will add a nice modern geometric touch to your projects 🙂 This set includes a total of 36 elements made from 3D renders, each available in 3 versions: black & gold mix, black, and gold. There are also 8 “atom array” polygons included. These are black with a metallic gold structure around them. All these polygons are provided as individual 300 dpi files, and are between about 1700 and 2500 px large. Choose between transparent png files, or layered psd files (where there’s a shadow layer that you can edit, if for example you’re creating a design where the polygon is sitting on the floor and therefore casts a shadow). This set also includes 12 seamless (tileable) patterns, available both in jpg and .pat (Photoshop patterns) formats. The jpg files are 3000×3000 px large with a resolution of 300 dpi.

07. Crystal spheres + other elements from MiksKS

This design kit includes a collection of 28 crystal sphere elements for your design projects! Inspired by titanium quartz crystals, these abstract spheres feature bright metallic colors and a sharp low poly look. You can choose between “regular” crystal sphere (16 elements), and randomized crystal spheres (12 elements). Each sphere is around 3000 px large. There’s also a set of 14 various silver/metallic elements such as a sphere, rings, polygonal grids, etc, that you can combine with the crystal spheres for unique and custom designs. You can also use one of the 5 premade scenes provided with this kit, if you prefer. Each premade scene is a fully layered PSD file (3000 x 3000 px, 300 dpi), where you can move the elements around, change the background color, or add your own text if you want.

09. Noir Glitch textures and shapes from MiksKS

Introducing ”Noir”, a collection of 20 glitch textures with a dark feel and a lot of pixel distortions! These textures are very detailed and their large size (6000x4000px, 300 DPI) makes them versatile to ensure that they can be used for a large range of projects, such as for example, book and CD covers, backgrounds, glitch art, layer masks, etc. Have a look at the close-up picture to get a preview of the 100% size – you’ll see moiré effects, scan lines and some grain.

Note: no computers or TVs were harmed during the process of creating these textures.

There’s also a set of 10 polygonal shapes that you can combine with the textures and with some text if you want. The shapes are provided as AI, EPS and PNG formats. The PNG files are around 4000px large, with transparent background and 300 DPI resolution.

Bonus! Also included in this set, a quick Photoshop action for creating a ‘’RGB glitch’’ effect (color and B&W versions).
